Uncertainty lingers in investors’ minds as markets remain a bit directionless, economic data are moving sideways and corporate earnings are soft, but not weaker than expected. Moreover, additional news flow about the direction of central bank policy is mixed too while investor behaviour is undecided, but cautious with low sentiment, high cash levels and mostly “neutral” opinions on the market outlook. Both fundamental and behavioural information seems to be telling a story of low visibility on the future direction of markets.
